West Jefferson Restaurants
 There
are several West Jefferson Restaurants
and excellent places to dine in Ashe

West Jefferson’s revived downtown
district is growing into a hub of
delicious restaurants as several new
eateries have opened in recent years.
Here you’ll find Bohemia Gallery, the
official tasting location for the New
River Winery. It is a café and
coffeehouse where you can enjoy music
and great art pieces while you taste
delicious coffees and scrumptious
creations.
Also located in West Jefferson’s
downtown “art district” is Fraser’s
Restaurant, featuring a casual lunch and
dinner menu. Fraser’s also has plenty of
space for meetings and other gatherings
in both the Belk Room and the smaller
venue, the Quilt Room. Michael's 102
North is also downtown and a great place
for shoppers to make a quick stop for
lunch or dinner. Featuring both casual
and sophisticated entrees, Michael's 102
North has something for everyone.
For eloquent dining just off the Blue
Ridge Parkway, check out the Glendale
Springs Restaurant in the Glendale
Springs Inn. The delicious entrees of
fresh seafood, delicious cuts of meat
and lovely presentation impressed
President Bill Clinton and Vice
President Al Gore during their time in
Ashe County for the dedication of the
New River. Another favorite for those
seeking sophisticated tastes and dining
in the Blue Ridge is the River House,
located in the River House Country Inn.
Enjoy dinner Wednesday through Sunday by
reservation only. On Salon Sundays enjoy
a meeting of the minds as people get
together to discuss art, music and enjoy
food and wine at 4:00 with a four course
meal following at 6:00.
